I agree 100%, totally disappointed by the console, totally unusable, I mean to the point where its not just a "bad ability" but instead I think its just broken. I really hope this can get some attention from the developers

Just had this happen to me during the New Romulus mission where we defend the planet. Had to restart the game to fix audio, even in sector space I no longer heard any sounds during the mission. Really wish they can fix this as it totally takes you out of the experience :(
