I understand the concern about BOff seating, however I still enjoy flying my DHC K't'inga and that had even worse tac seating for a cannon build (which has higher tac slot requirements than a beam build). This ship is far more durable and has basically the same console slots (accounting for the t6 upgrade). We shall see…

While it makes more strategic sense to put beams or single cannons on a slow turning cruiser, I agree with the OP; why do we need a rule to disallow that option? I understand it isn't worth the development time and effort to change all the cruisers in the game, but it never really made sense.

So the idea is a dedicated weapon slot as a PD and tac skills to effect it. Sounds like the free 360 AP beam and FAW1 would do the same. You don't needed to match energy type if you are just clearing spam.

What about the point defense console that we already have? No weapon slot required. In the Heavy Escort refit you can do a torpedo point defense as well. On the bottom of the search screen you can filter out doffs you can't use. However I am not sure how that affects the number of records pulled.

100 items, but there is also a limit to the number of emails shown. The item limit stops more items from arriving, these still exist, you just can't see the new ones.

There is also a limit of 400 (I believe that is the correct number) emails different than the item limit. Could you have exceeded that value? As I recall it only shows you the oldest emails.

Did you open the email first? Did you try to switch to "off duty" on the head customization tab?. You cannot do this on your first costume slot. Then go to the uniform tab. It should be a drop down option in half the areas. Pants are the tight pants category, "lower" section.

I would bet this is indeed the problem. I often have to readjust after going from Fed to Romulan ships. However it isn't only the build. As best as I can tell the dmg modifier does not apply to mines and targetable torpedoes. Certainly not in the tool tip. I haven't parsed it to confirm though, so I would love to be wrong. The price determines what value you get (40%-50%) from the vendors if you sell them.

There is a timeout on the system. if you aren't fast enough they will start resetting. I have completed many on solo, but you can't waste any time.

I hate to post a "me too" message, but... The KDF ships are tons of fun. Flying a BoP using attack pattern alpha is like fighting from a rollercoaster. They take some practice and can pop easily at first, so don't give up on your first couple of attempts. Later try a retro K't'inga, it is closer to a raider than a cruiser…

I was able to get it working by completing the entire intro, including fighting in the ground battle. It is worth a try if you don't want to wait for the patch.

I was just thinking a tiny bit more seriously; Legacy of Romulus would make a great trilogy with some obvious conversion needed from game to script. Though it would be hard to have a surprise ending for the target audience. Maybe he should be calling Cryptic... :)
