Just use Vulcans. I'm sure their brains and bodies could handle the shroom drive. Makes sense to me. But since it has to fail for canon sake, it's likely going to be a catastrophic failure since there is absolutely no mention of it being used by anyone in the future.
Well the MU is at least aware of an alternate universe based on the fact that they recovered the Defiant. But the Prime universe doesn't become aware of the MU until "Mirror, Mirror" which is in the future for Discovery. I was hoping they wouldn't go down the MU rabbit hole. I guess we'll find out in January :/
I lost Louis C.K. NOW George Takei?! WTF??!! Can't anyone keep their hands to themselves? The ultimate irony would be if accusations come out against Shatner. You know being Kirk and all. :|

I thought the episode was good. Maps were nicely done. In my opinion Burton's voice acting was very good. He didn't sound like he was phoning it in as others have in the past. Never would've guessed the crystals were eggs. Wonder why none of the scans showed them having life forms in them? Maybe we'll find out why later.…

I may be in the minority with this but I liked Enterprise's opening. It did capture the exploration spirit well in my opinion. And as much as I hate to admit it, I actually LIKED the opening theme song. There. I said it.
Didn't care for it myself. Thought the party was a bit out of place. Not saying Starfleet personel can't blow off some steam during war time, it just seemed too 21st century for me. Mudd as a super villain was a bit much. He's a con artist not Kahn. Where does he get his hands on a "time crystal"? Something only a 4th…
Funny, I watched "The Tholian Web" last night. Chekov asks Spock if there has ever been a mutiny on a starship. Spock says there is no known record of one. Um, Burnham... Just saying.
I think Cornwell has to die. She already believes Lorca to be unstable and unfit for command. If she gets back to Earth his career is over. Hence why he is willing to do a complete 180* and wait for orders. This is out of character for Lorca. He's disobeyed orders before. Hell, he did at the beginning of this very episode.…
I wasn't too shocked about the f-bomb per se. But I was shocked by who dropped it first. If it was going to drop, I thought it would've been Lorca in the form of a torp spread f-bomb.
I thought they were going to drag out the whole moral implications of using the spore drive when they know it causes pain and suffering to a living being for the rest of the season. Figured Lorca would have argued the "needs of the many" angle to continue using it. Guess I was wrong. :/ I don't get how Lorca destroys his…
T6 Miranda!! "The Skier" will make it's T6 debut as soon as it drops. WOOHOO!! If you don't know what I'm talking about just ask Triz. I'm sure he'd be glad to explain wouldn't you Triz? :D
What IS up with those cannons on the sides? Love the new skin and the T6 treatment btw. I have a particularly ugly kitbash I can't wait to try in endgame content. :D
