The MI is also good for role reversal. If my sci gravity wells the horde, try to close down the rifts from the outside. Also, I've found myself activating the generators alone many times.<this is a good thing. It means y'all kicking a**. We are a team of electrons, orbiting a nucleus.
It's unique. We can go to space and land on planets. Imagine if there were no cutscenes or loading times :) I'm a Star Trek fan. I feel like my character is unique to others. The best rule of thumb is play how you want too. Not with someone elses build.
The MI and the old MI have always been a Gravity Wellers dream. You can aggro the entire horde, and with pets and distress calls you can create a furball really quick. Also, if you use the tractor beam, you can pull the dread away and make for a much less stressful ending. Just tractor the dread away and wait until all the…
Sanatoba, I think it's going to be either a Vorgon Cruiser or something Vorlon, maybe? I think I saw science ship mentioned in there. (please, yes!) anyway, yeah Risa will be fun. I hope I can come in first place in the triathalon this year. :)
For me I like them when I'm bored and need changeon my routine science attacks. I'm just trying to get my mind away from that and try healing sometimes. I need a change and just want to heal for a bit, sometimes. That's why I do deep space encounters. the'yr very fun if all you do is heal.
I think the OP has a good point. Normally, I like to use deep space encounters as a chance to hone my healing abilities. I dont mind lending a hand when its needed. And yet I will use science attacks when needed. For me they can be done very quickly, but I guess I like the challenge to do nothing but heal, when needed. For…
I like the fast firing cycles for anti-shield. Gravity Well 3 is a necessity. I would be an interesting event, down sizing from a t6 Vesta class to a T5u Nova class. I like it, lets go for it. Maybe keep tractor beam. Add Hazard Emitters. Don't stop until we reach the glorious t6 Nova or the t6 fleet nova!
I like this idea. The problem comes in when you can recognize your friends/fleet and ship names. It will invariably become a standard PVP. Disable all names, ship names, and fleet. Title people either Red Player or Blue Player.
I messed up. I'm sorry. I just wanted an opportunity for those that started the event, but were unable to complete the event for the rewards. I missed the deadline due to an unforeseen circumstance.
I love the event as well! Kudos to the dev team for putting together such a beautiful location. I wish there was a way to switch to the phoenix model view and watch it take its flight. Overall excellent job and pleasantly surprised with the music, too.
There are some great points here, but I lost interest when pvp was mentioned. I do remember when engineer was a sort of redmage. In between tac(fighter) and sci(mage) Engineering needs to be more offensive, i.e., sustained fire without the need for any emergency power to (something) or miracle worker. if anything you…
I vote to keep PvP the way it is. I have maybe won 2 or 3 solo matches out of hundreds. But it is a way for me to at least take a second look at my traits and skills and build. I will have a reason to work on something even though I mostly play PvE. This could be how easy PvE's are for some people. The Crystalline…
Love it! Does this mean we get to go back in time and kick some Na'Kuhl out of the past? I would love to be able to use a holo-emitter to alter my appearance for the time period. I think the Samurai would inquire about my Nausicaan Tegolar Sword, though
I agree with lordsteve and rifter. While I'm not the best at dps. For the first time in months, I got second place a couple of days ago. I'm a sci/t5u vesta. It seems like science is getting a long awaited boost. And with the new specialization, the aggro helps alot. But I still have to play smart, otherwise i'm a goner.…
I guess if I had the ability to vaporize it in 5 seconds, I probably would too. maybe option # 2 is best. remove fail option. edit: only problem is some would consider this a nerf.
As an Aventine pilot, I mostly focused on sci and eng. I also got as much as I could out of tac abilities before it interfered with eng and sci. I also tried to make sure I had at least one in all three Admiral level sci, eng, tac. edit: I'm not much of a dps player, though. to answer you question, all in part gens and at…
My guess is nobody wants easy stf's. This is just plain ol' power creep. That being said, I dont think it needs any changes. The second blast will blow me up. I can survive the first one tho.
Why does this thread exist? Who cares if anyone uses battlecloak? This should have never happened. Only for the purpose of trolling for people who will complain, and then probably call foul when someone opposes them.
