I'll confirm it then, It was meant as an internal joke within a fleet, the fleet one of my toons is in, and before anyone says anything, no I had nothing to do with it.

At this point I am considering backing up my user files and just uninstalling STO. The launcher seems unstable and or corrupted to me after all the constant patches which is progressively getting worse (white or black screen on the launcher, hanging etc.). I'll reinstall again when there's a stable release.

On twitter (really? I need to go there) it says, "Looks like there's some kind of issue with logging in on PC, we're investigating.", and "We're likely going to have to put out a patch in the morning to fix this issue" That was over 7 hours ago, so I guess a patch during today's maintenance period...

I love win 7, just the best OS I've used through the years. But, you know, may be it's time to upgrade again. Would not take much, in my case a new motherboard and cpu, pretty simple and not expensive. I'll wait to see what Cryptics final word is though as Win 7 does support Direct3D Feature Level 11.0.
