Hi there and thank you for this pointer. The root cause for me is, indeed, the trait "Hunter's Instinct". When it is active I have the aforementioned bug. When it's inactive I no longer have issues.

Same issue for me, 5 minutes ago during TFO "Days of Doom". Except I was playing with a "standard" toon (not a Klingon recruit) with the T6 Bird of Prey. So maybe the issue isn't related to the toon used, but the ship.
