For me it's like this: Denial- "There's no way Cryptic would TRIBBLE us over and hide these oft-requested, highly desired, ironic ships behind a gambling scam." Anger- "Fraking Cryptic hiding these oft-requested, highly desired, ironic ships behind a gambling scam! >:-[" Bargaining- "Well maybe if I sell some of these…
I feel nothing but utter comtempt at Cryptic for doing this (or allowing PWE to do this). I've been practically begging for a high tier, non-fleet, C-Store D-7/K'Tinga. Now, it's here, but, what do they do? Lock it behind a gambling wall. And, what's worse, stick it there for only a few days. I'm so pissed right now about…
Same here. Extreme slowness on the launccher for the patch. Server Login Timeouts three times in a row and unable to get into game at all. Not sure what's happening.
I would be first in line, wallet in hand and open to buy a T6 Vor'cha and K'TInga. In fact, I would buy not only for myself, but for my five gaming buddies to go marauding around the cosmos with me in style. Hear that Cryptic? Five Customers waiting in the wings for you!
You know... I'll be the first in line to give Cryptic a pat on the back. But, this crafting system. It's quite frankly a big, fat, W.T.F. I've been messing around with this thing for quite some time now- Beams lvl 13, Shields and Ground Weapons lvl 12 and Engineering lvl 11. I've been doing most of my leveling through the…
Upgrading is a RNG TRIBBLE Shoot, too? *sighs* Gods, Cryptic, is it really that hard to let people craft and upgrade stuff they actually want? I don't mind an extra dilithium cost if it means I can actually craft/upgrade the gear I intend to craft/upgrade.
If the gear we make can be freely traded and put on the exchange, then why bother having an alt craft? Just have you main learn all the school and do all the work. It'd save on all the DOffs you'd end up needing anyway.
I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree. I loved these Romulan ground weapon types and I wished they were available for other energy types. I do hope these become available as crafting recipes for ground weapons.
Really? I'm a mechanical designer and I have to deal with bad parts all the time. We often accept them because of time constraints and their flaws are within tolerance specs. Rockhound (Armageddon Film): "You know we're sitting on four million pounds of fuel, one nuclear weapon and a thing that has 270,000 moving parts…
Personally, I don't like the idea of REMOVING content, under any circumstance. Even if said content is somewhat monotonous and/or farm worthy. The star clusters were kind of cool for the exploratory factor, as mentioned, and to just do something off-the-cuff (log in, do three of them for the Explore Strange New Worlds…
And, the gang and I just finished the Devidian Series with Night of the Comet. Here's the result. I admit... I soiled myself a little when I saw it for the first time.
I asked this somewhere else and didn't get an answer, which makes me think I should have asked it here. I'm not seeing where these new Kits are. I went to Drozana station, as instructed. I went to the Testing Special Items Console. All that's here are the Dyson Stuff, some Warbirds and the Rep Sponsor Tokens. Is there…
ESD looks great. Where's Club 47??? Also, I'm not finding the Kit Revamp Testing stuff. I'm at Drozana Station, at the Testing Special Items Console. But, I'm not seeing them. Did they get pulled from testing? Is there somewhere else I should be looking?
I love this promotion and here's why: You know you're getting 10 Lobi right off the bat, regardless. So, lets say $220 (yeah, that's crazy, but, for argument's sake, I have the descretionary funds, I want that bug and, hey let's face it, Romulus and Sphere were free, so I owe them for the fun I've been having anyway) get's…
I do want to chime in and say, that I totally agree with the OP's comments. STO is a phenomenal game! And, placed highly amongst my favorites. My number one reason: Two fantastic expansions (Legacy of Romulus and The Sphere) for free... FREE! Other titles usually charge you money for that stuff, so I'm told. I'm having so…
The ARE Brilliant! You really should list this videos to people can find them easier on YouTube. These are great and need to be seen by more people. Kudo!
I think all dudes who play chic toons should get a heavy nerf. All of their DPS and healing skills and use of fire extinguishers should be on a 5min global cooldown.
Gene Roddenbery's vision was a shirt-less Kirk neckin with every green skinned alien he could get his hands on. That is, when he's not violating every starfleet regulation in the book- particularly the prime directive. At least my Admiral has some military decorum.
Dude, you still can't create content... It's still down. If it's not all the way Cowboy Up- It's not up. That's my take. But, I don't care about that- the Alpha Quadrant can be in flames for all I care. I wanna know how phenominal 2-hour potatoes must taste!
This, I feel, will be a HUGE boon to the game. If we can establish a reward system that makes sense for Foundry Play (and a reward system for Foundary Authors too!!!), then we can finally nip the "No Content in this Game" gripe once and for all. The Foundry is chuck full of great missions- missions nobody plays because of…
I like this a lot. It keeps things fresh, and we do kinda do that already with the Red Alerts where you can pick either Dilithium and Level Appropriate gear. Give this reward system to the oft maligned patrol mission too, to encourage exploration.
