Ground combat is mostly fine - its issues lie in 3 areas: -No visible progress bars for ability activations -Lengthy aftercast periods for most kit modules -More realistic movement compared to competition in the MMO industry which, ironically enough, makes the combat/movement feel clunkier and more awkward. Arguably…
Definitely the Tactical Escort. It's the only one of those that simultaneously meets all of the following: -fewer than 4 aft weapons -more than 3 fore weapons -more than 3 tactical consoles -at least a lt. tac and lt. cmdr. tac For non-science builds, these are all but prerequisites to not being carried in advanced endgame…
Always spec points until you no longer need them (ie, until you've filled out the trees you need for your build(s)). Imgur doesn't require an account. You can just upload the images as a guest, rightclick them once uploaded and open them in a separate tab, then copy that link and put it here.
Flat buffs to damage as applied by tactical consoles have no diminishing returns - rather, they give a flat buff to the base damage of weapons that deal the damage type they buff before any other buffs are applied. You get the bonus you see - for this reason, you want this bonus to be as high as possible. Building on that,…
Ahh, gotcha. Haven't done those TFOs in ages, totally forgot about that mechanic. I seem to remember the support cruisers spawning pretty close to the large ships anyway, though.
Did I misunderstand what you meant by this, then? OP was talking about enemy breaches causing damage as well (rather than GW itself), and I was saying us adapting to irresponsible GWing would yield better results than trying to get them to play differently.
What? GW3 can deal 10k+ per tick on EPG builds and puts all the other targets that spawn in with the transports in one place for more AoE, and all that must be done for it to not cause issues is tractor quickly and heal/cleanse the transport afterward. It's perfectly effective. The problem here isn't solved by asking…
Grav well is a non-issue unless you're slow to tractor the transport out of the well. High burst and high direct-applied DoTs are bigger threats. You don't need a gravwell to kill a transport in one burst, and they only have 84k hp. HE them when they switch sides and tractor immediately to avoid the problem. If you have…
On forward-focused cannon-incompatible ships, dual beam banks are generally the preferred forward weapons, dealing quite a bit more damage than single beams, with only one exception (single beams with major damage-buffing set bonuses, ie the Nausicaan single beam for disruptor builds). Omega reputation has become somewhat…
Standard Galaxy is T4 - that's probably a large part of your troubles. Someone else pointed out that Terrans employ torp spread a lot - that tends to be where most people have trouble with them. Brace for impact when you see Typhoons, and make use of shield redistribution to drastically reduce their effectiveness.
Would be nice (if for no other reason than consistency's sake), though I doubt it'd bring most of them up to par given they were replaced on most builds in no small part thanks to newer consoles offering better set bonuses.
That's the bottom of the primary interaction menu, except it doesn't have interactions listed for some reason. If it just doesn't go away, you could move (recommended) or disable that bit of UI (it'll get rid of it, but not recommended) in rearrange HUD.
Why did T'Ket call Sela a "Romulan" and vow to get revenge on the Romulan people if we were 200,000 years in the past and the Romulans didn't even exist until after the Sundering, which only took place about 2,000 years ago?
Preferably *before* this Thursday, when the FE ends. Ever since S10 launched, I've had the issue of CTDs right after the Iconian War screen - the verify after I open the launcher the second time would always fix it. But recently, the game has started to freeze after the Iconian War screen as the OP describes... Sometimes,…
