None of my other games were affected by it either, so idk what is going on. my ISP shouldnt be giving me issues. The only thing they give me is occasional net drop, but thats from a faulty box outside.
Yeah. I'm fine for the first few minutes after logging in, but then the SNRs and Lag hit me like a ton of bricks, even when in sitting in sector space doing nothing but doffing
I recommend bringing the collective weight of every ship used by the players. Also, Trendy, there will be eggs and Bacon waiting for you tomorrow, as well as a plate of your favorite sweets
Same. the only time i can get the ship to be in a relatively normal focal point in sector space, I have to have my FOV set to above 136. At that FOV, everything is severely distorted
Silent Contemplations, 11th Hour link is http://imgur.com/gallery/4OCYE was working on both pics in the link at same time, and only decided on which after posting them as an album and seeing the close up having the fps counter still in. The pic featured is pic 1 in the album, and the one I'm entering.
I like the stats of the Jupiter. That said, There is one single point of contention that I have with it: the Intel slots. For a Carrier, one would think that it would have Command rather than Intel, simply due to it being more of a command and control type vessel. However, after some thought, Intel Makes sense too. The…
My issue is that sounds work... except for when I'm attacking enemies. i can barely hear their weapons at best, mine not at all, unless I have the cam facing my character/ship's face/front Edit: I can hear the enemies weapons, and my team's weapons, but mine aren't audible at all Edit 2: Fiddled around with the…
You also need to keep in mind a certain TNG episode that Worf makes reference to during Sphere of Influence. Experiments have been run for 30+ years on various races. Who's to say abductions by Elachi haven't happened for as long too, if not longer (*looks to ENT*)? The Undine also play a large role in the force…
Don't think anything of if :) The forums getting sidetracked is their specialty. But yeah, after years of war, huge losses, and now starfleet is pushing for more exploration, meanwhile there is a lot of empty space in previously bustling places
Yeah. Rurinn and I were talking about something in conjunction to this thread (which is what got me thinking about this thread's topic), on how it was too rushed. A more realistic (yet still equally shocking) timeframe for all this to have happened would have had this game in 2427 at least, in our opinions. And that simply…
All true, but The Delta Recruits' whole "purpose" outside of a gear up is not the main point of this thread. They were recruited because of manpower shortages and a way to get warned about the Iconian's real threat is what I think Rurinn was getting at. Regardless, after the war, there is yet another massive shortage, thus…
To be fair, The Recruits had to search for the stuff linking the iconians to everything because their future selves said to. Predestination paradoxes are tricky
I agree. We were asked to help the ship's design come together from many initial designs, and I for one Liked the way this contest was carried out. The only issue I had was in voting for the semifinals and final. I voted on all the winners, and picking my faves of the faves was the hardest choice. In the End, Omega takes…
I too got SNRs, and login_timeouts. Went to reboot my computer after forcing sto closed because it was stuck on 'connecting to login server' for several minutes, and now i'm getting the launcher auto-updater loops ('tried connecting 9 times' at this post's posting) After more attempts, and an error message, i finally got…
Again, this was a tough call for me. Below are the things I noticed with Epsilon and Omega: Epsilon: * Better armored * More compact, which facilitates easier defense, but also facilitates easier to damage multiple areas. * more defense-oriented in appearance * Chimera-style nacelle attachment. * better impulse arrangement…
Alpha looks like it protects the fighters a bit more (if released aft), which is a pretty smart design given that the pets are at their most vulnerable at launch and up close to enemies. That said, the design of gamma's hangar is rather nicer. What tipped my vote was the hull configuration. Alpha's bridge (in the prelim…
I like the compact design of Sigma, but Omega seems like a nicer meld of 'Carrier' and the Iconic Federation design with the Nacelles clearly visible. That, saddled with how it looks a bit like the Jupiter class, as well as what I can only assume is a Through-and-Through Hangar Bay in the profile pic, seems more promising
Thank you for all your work, Ms. Trendy! Now go eat, and eat bacon! Also, eat bacon wrapped bacon. And a cookie. And chocolate covered bacon. That is inside a cookie
A KDF science officer's role is not simple science, as the Feds are. A KDF sci's role is using science to expand the empire. Give us a sci ship (or ships) at T^ with the Cmdr sci, LTC tac, and LTC sci- your model of 'less people, give them less' doesnt work. In MMO's, if a faction is falling behind, you are supposed to pay…
I'd like to point out, despite its limited veracity, (even though it is as true as most of STO's content) that The Q created the Iconians as they were through giving them the means to create their gateways. At that time, they were considered peaceful. But now, millennium later, they are somehow evil…
Okay, so I moved to a Diff computer, and it started up the game fine. But i go to play and i get a couple SNR's and a weird graphics issue. Thanks Edit: uninstalled STO and Reinstalled it. took 15 attempts to load launcher
