Try this to patch ... at launcher, before pushing Patch, select options and check Patch via proxy and select EU as Proxy (I live in EU). After that once patched probably the Cancel button doesnt change, click it and game will load. Now working without VPN :)

Nice ... I'm new to STO, first day, awesome, today without access unless i route my machine traffic via office's VPN. From my point of view, STO was 50% of time down :D LoL

My home ISP is Telefonica and my office is connected via COLT. I've routed traffic to the netblock via the VPN to my office and now i'm playing, but after a hard day, go home to relax and ... more troubleshooting xD

Same with .44 xD The whole netblock is being under Dominion attack ! Ive checked tcpdump's output and something behind port 7255 is balancing traffic to a blackhole xD

Nope, after testing directly Crypticstudio's NS their records are the same (208.95.185.41). So, this is not a DNS problem :) This looks a routing problem. I'm from Spain, and from my home ISP i cant connect, but from office's connection works like a charm.
