  • You and oneandonlyrecce had it right. I had 12 candidates under the "stations" tab of character status. I assumed the officer would go to general inventory like they do in other cases when the candidate roster is full. But no. Not with this one. Thanks for the info.

  • OK. After a couple of days, I just randomly clicked it and it worked. No new action on my part, it just decided now was the time. So that's how it works folks - wait until the game fixes itself.

  • That's if you "win." If you lose, it is NEGATIVE 10% Crit Hit/Severity, decreased dodge for 3,600 seconds, according to the Wiki. I don't have one, so tell me this: Do you know when you win or lose? Can you scrape off the bad juju by petting a tribble or something? Otherwise you are enfeebled for an hour. .

  • Yes, I have been using the food for tribble breeding. There is a handy guide for that under "breeding" if you go to the tribble page. They will eat your stuff if you put it in the same location as a tribble and presto - more tribbles. Still need to know - does food give any lasting hit point bonus, or does it just speed up…
