The problem's still there after all this time, but only with certain Bridge Officers I recriut occurs in some of the characters I use. Has anyone been able to nail down and fix this problem yet? It's really annoying to deal with at times.
Something similar like this happened in October of 2020 where we weren't able to log in game at all for 2 whole weeks and the worst case was it affected the Steam users more than anything else. I hope it won't take that long for this problem to be solved or we're in for a long wait till we're able to play the game once…
I think he's talking about what's going on with this post regarding all loadouts unslotting from our ships to the inventory whenever we switch maps/locations, etc, which I do hope is on it's way to having a fix really soon too. https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1266756/loadout-bug-post-update
What about the bridges though, like they did with the Kelvin, Vengence, and Crossfield? That shouldn't take too long to make though compared to doing both bridges and interiors altogether. Just a thought here.
I wrote something similar about this a while back too. It's ashame that it's back to the way it is now. :( https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1263391/welcome-back-display
https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11480173-pc-patch-notes-for-10/21/20 Looks like there might be a fix to this problem for tomorrow's patch... hopefully. :)
Looks like the last time Kael's logged in to the forum was October 14th as of this message. So I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes or if they're even looking into this issue anymore at the moment. :(
I really enjoyed her and the crew of the Coldstar from reading the STO Lore that involved them them long ago in 2016 and 2018. So glad she and them got added to a mission for a change. :)
In all honesty, Kael, you guys really need to do a much better job addressing things like these in the future so they won't happen again, especially after what happened in last Tuesday's patch so we wouldn't have to wait either another week, two, or beyond just for this DirectX problem to be resolved. I mean, just how bad…
