  • Just the romulan D'ridthau has this console. So no console for Fed, just if you you are a romulan fed ;) You can check this here -> http://sto.gamepedia.com/Universal_Console
  • I've done the terran battlezone to level my ships. Three complete rounds are enough to get a ship from zero to five. It depends a bit on how many enemys you hit while fighting, so AoE spam helps. Nevertheless, it also give a decent amount of marks, dilli and ec
  • I think there are only three general types of players. Let me explain it a bit. When you start a game, as complex in mechanics, as STO, you'll be at first overwhelmed (I know a lot ok ppl that even quit the game due to complexity). You choose some skills, add some boffs and don't even mind any doffs. In the beginning it…
  • I think it's just easier to focus on those skills that benefit your build. With the old system I had to spend a lot of skill points to get my builds to work. Now that some of the skills have been consolidated, I have some spare skill points to spend on other stuff, that wasn't possible whithin the old system.
  • I really like the change because of several reasons. The most importent reason is, it's more accessible. A friend of mine started playing just two weeks before the change and he was totally puzzled about the old skill system. Even my wife, who plays STO for five yeas, had every time questions about the old skill system.…
  • If my Cruiser can fit in a TS3 it will get the Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo Launcher ... the weapon of choice for broadsiding
  • The equipment of you ship doesn't modify the admiralty stats of your ships, and the only way to get one ship more often as once is, if you get lucky und get it as admiralty reward (one use only).
  • It's a multi-line problem. I've never tried to adjust the the output, but if you can change it to a one-line text it should work ;)
  • If you have the resources to efford this, you could try this... Click! Take some Conn Officers to reduce the TT, rest is up to you. I know, I know ... some would say "heresy", why do you use beams? Simple answer: Beams are not that range dependant than cannons and I prefer to stay on range in most ESTFs ;) I've got a…
  • This! I've really tried a lot of ships but I always fall back to a cruiser. I got 9 toons and my goal is to get all of them on a different cruiser. My second goal is to build every cruiser different ... It's a lot of fun to punch some Borg faces with raw cruiser power :D
  • Never had problems with cruisers and especially with Eng toons. I outparse most of the time any other player in pug ESTFs with my Eng toons. Ok, I won' tell you it's you build, but what I can tell you is this -> l2p
  • But when you quote it, it will be visible again ...
  • Your point is absolutely correct! I got both, the Bortasque and the Mogh and both ships have their pros and cons. And the best thing about it is, that I really like both and I can't tell which is more fun to fly. So, if you know how to handle big ships the Bortasque is a valid choice. And there are some ways to get the…
  • I'll do some tests on my own today and will give you some feedback. Haven't noticed this problem actually ... Is this just cruiser related?
  • I don't think there is something wrong with DHCs but it is way easier to play with beams. There are a lot of cases, where you should be nearly at max range, especially in elite STFs and beams don't lose as much dps at this range as cannons. To get the best result from cannons you should be around 3-5km from your target,…
  • Easiest way to take stuff down is to take a lot of engineering boffs with you. I'm playing at the moment an engineer and I always have at least two engineering boffs. Both have Chroniton Mine Barrier I, Weapon Malfunction II, Turret Fabrication II and Quantum Mortar Fabrication II. I'm using a Romulan Fabrication…
  • Even the Atrox can do a lot damage if specced and played right. I'm flying it with my engineer and it is a freakin' steamroller. Actually it's one of my favorite ships. The only downside on the Atrox is, that it flies like a brick. It doesn't matter to me, because it is extremely durable, so you can just cruise around and…
  • I love my Ar'kif! It suits my playstyle perfectly. It turns not to fast like most of the escorts and it's not so squishy like them. There is nothing better than spreading the plasma hot sauce with my Reman :D
  • The reason is, that I for myself like to fly different ships and different ships need different builds. Thats the reason you need more than one toon. The reputation system is fine, it doesn't bother me, to get the reputation with several toons. The best is, I don't need it with every toon, they just get the rep they need…
  • I really don't understand, why so many people are complaining about escorts doing to much damage and therefor they are op. IMHO the escorts are good as they are, because I never felt of having a disadvantage over them while flying my cruiser. I got myself a Fleet Tactical Escort Retrofit but switched back to my D'Kora,…
  • U.S.S. Thunderclap U.S.S. Thunderclap in action U.S.S. Mars
  • I can feel your pain, I had some very similar matches yesterday. The worst thing I saw was a guy nuking the civilians with an orbital strike, while he was confused by a salt vampire. But never the less, do you really think this will work? I've tried many times to get my team mates back to their designated area by asking…
