Nope, doesn't help at all with the lag/rubberbanding on STO. Although it does make anything else running Java just a tad easier/faster.

He's not the only one. I get dc'd about every 20min or so and then it takes at least 5-6min for the characters just to load up/move to a new instance. I ran a connection test and I'm getting 10Mbit up, 5Mbit down - that or its vice versa, I forgot, but that's still at least 5Mbit either way which is more then sufficient…

Yeah, the lag/rubberbanding is horrible. Took 17 tries at the Fastest Race on Ice to even get past the first u-turn, as it rubberbanded me right off the course. Took another 3 times for me to actually finish the race, and even then, it booted me right off the server before I could get to the coordinator to even get the…
