In the cases of larger and highly active fleets, I would agree with you. The sudden disappearance of a leader would be catastrophic, if measures weren't in place. But, in the case of my little fleet, everybody who was left had Admiral or Fleet Admiral level permissions, so my absence was essentially a non-issue.…

The 50 favor jet pack works just fine. I thought it was a bit tricky at first too. But, it's really not that sensitive, if you go outside the lines. Just make sure to go through the "gates". You'll find it is a cake walk after a few run throughs, I promise.
