i did have the same problem on my klingon character but i grew tired of waiting for the devs to fix it so i just created a new one

This is still a problem and basically, means you cannot equip any other outfits, only modify. This is particularly annoying if like me you have purchased 2 extra clothing slots, all i want to do is wear my iconian outfit, it cant be that difficult to fix such a minor issue and roll it out in an update, seriously devs cmon.
