Ah! I should have been more specific -- I meant the Galaxy map. That one is never centered on me, and there is no center button. :P

There is something going on with Comcast and Verizon. It's affecting other MMO games I play. In the other MMO I play people have successfully used the WTFast program to fix the strange lag. http://uorforum.com/threads/verizon-...solution.8860/

I can't believe Star Trek Online thinks this is ok. I guess they want to keep selling the disco balls? It's just so not Star Treky to force someone to dance with a magical ball over their head. This isn't Azeroth, there shouldn't be magical-forced-dancing spells here.

There is so much in Star Trek Online that is never explain in the game. You have to go onto the forums or something to get any idea wtf is happening. Then when I come here and read threads, I really have no idea what anyone is talking about thanks to confusing language and acronyms. So much about the way this game works is…

Can anyone who tested on Tribble tell me if when you open your map you're centered in it? Or do you still default to some random location then have to scroll to find yourself every time you open the map?

"You can always hit 'M' to view the map, which will also display all of the sectors." I hope the map will now center on my ship; instead of defaulting to some sector far, far away like it does now.

I've had many of these issues. If I go to my bridge officers skill menu right now it'll deselect the one I trained them with and select the original skill they came with. About as often as that happens I'll find for some reason all my bridge officers have been removed from their stations too.

This IS SO IMPORTANT. Spend less time adding new ships/shiny things & spend more time polishing the game. So many little things are messed up. :-) Little things like when I finish mining and just stand there the mining laser goes away and my arm goes inside my body.

I would like to point out some posts on these forums scared me this was a hardware issue when in fact my 'Panda Anti-Virus' was the cause. Uninstalled it, game patched fine. No BSOD.
