Un-subbed about a year ago. Too many gimmicky consoles, ships, etc. Too much pay-2-win. Lock box lottery, half-assed "new content". More grind. I'm self-employed, enjoy a modest income, and LOVE Star Trek. I'd happily pay $20/month (probably $25/30) if the game was actually any good. I refuse to pay for what it's become.…

If STO was real, I'd be terrified of all these magic consoles all over the place. That, and solving every problem with moar dps. Probably just cloak up and run through the replicator menu.

I've gotten enough Lobi to buy/sell some Lobi ships, and a nice amount of the Dilithium Mining Claims. Dropped some cash on Zen when I had extra and the keys were on sale. I can't imagine it's a router issue...I'm the only one using the connection (yes, it's secured) for my PC and iphone when I'm in the bedroom. I'm getting d/c at the login screen, or as soon as I click 'play' after choosing a character...not just d/c from STO, but my entire internet access drops. Played it today on 'normal' with a PUG and smoked it down in like 5 minutes or something silly. Guess I got lucky?

Yeah I hesitated buying them because I'd figured there would be a patch...seems a bit more useful after the patch. Will probably pull the trigger on it tomorrow; thanks for the replies everyone.
