Work around: Can not fail on any part of Deja Vu

After clearing the shipyard, and scanning the coin flippers, and sending out the engineers to hack the consoles I failed the mission and had to start back at clear the shipyard but the NPC's in the lower level of the "DS9" had all double, triple or quadruple spawned right on top of each other. Individually targeting the correct NPC to scan in that is near impossible.

this bug was posted on tribble in the above tread prior to the release of season 2 and prior to the bug that was corrected today (btw good job there and thank you).

Oh and to replicate the bug all you need to do is first clear the shipyard. Next talk to Myles then go randomly scanning npc's, it's not important that you get the coin flippers since you are actually trying to fail. After scanning the 10 groups go back and have Myles send out his engineers and wait for the Undine to kill one, the mission should fail then and make you start over. All you have to do is walk up the ramp and look at the Npc's they should be double/triple spawned right on top of each other. (This same bug happens in the boss room to the Sulu's if you have to reset it because the real Sulu died)

    Happened to us as well, even after scanning the coin flips, we had literally hundreds of undine on top of us in seconds at the 1st console, happened repeatedly....Fix chief Myles, break it elsewhere it seems..:(

    This is not a bug. It only happens if you scan incorrectly. If you do not make any mistakes in scanning the coin flipplers, there will be far fewer undine in the next stage. The more errors in scanning that you make, the more undine will spawn.

    We all understand the scanning process of Terradome. This is not that. What happens is, after you scan all 10 of the officers and go and talk to Chief Myles to get the engineers out to the consols the regular group of Undine spawn. Normally these guys do not last long and end up dying without much of a fight. This round they put up a fight and ended up killing one of our engineers before we could kill all of the Undine.

    Now this is what the OP is talking about. After you reset and start clearing the Dock for the second time and then get ready to go back up to rescan the Officers there are twice as many officers now stacked on top of each other. See the below picture.

    We thought this to be a glitch and comenced scanning the officers. mind you we found all ten as before. We went back to talk to chief myles to start the next part and when we executed the mission there double the Undine this time around. Our engineers died in less than a minute. Not even a chance to fight them off. It was horrible.

    We did try to see if it was a glitch and made a third attempt with the same outcome.

    Terradome is still broke.

    This is a bug, you are not understanding what I'm refering to.

    My team just abandoned a Terradome run, (bug report #948,921) same issues noted above. All ten scans completed correctly and subsequent Undine spawns during console stage were between two to four times as many as on previous occasions. NPC Security team effectiveness has been reduced making survival unlikely. When attempting the scanning segment for the second time, npcs spawn with two and three species overlapping each other making individual scan target selection unreliable.

    I've also had the same "glitch". Can all 10, get bumrushed by horde. Fail. Go at it again, NPC inside NPC. Have to beam out and stay out for about 10 minutes to reset.

    This bug also occurs at the end with Where's Sulu in the boss room with the undine commander and sulus

    attached are screenshots showing that there are way way more sulus than normal and also there were multiple undine commander bosses as well for everytime we failed

    also the sulus have infinite health no matter what kind of damage was done to them....this is a known bug since I have seen this issue reported before.

    process done was we killed the boss first and then tried to kill the remaining 8 fake sulus but was unable to finish before the real sulu died and we failed and what followed was the duplication of the sulus and boss.
