Still can't enter the Bhea system!

I have a problem with my main character that is still an issue after (so far) 51 days and two bug reports.
When I was a Lieutenant at the start of the game, I took the patrol mission "Patrol the Vulcan Sector". I did the first three systems on the list - Beytan, Kei and Pico. They all went normally.
The problem arose when I approached the last system on the list - Bhea. I flew my ship up to the Bhea system on the sector map and nothing happens - the popup "Enter the Bhea system" message never appears, so I can't ever get into the system to begin the mission.
Pressing F near the system does not work.
Dropping and re-taking the mission does not work.
Getting on a team and sharing the mission does not work - team members may be able to enter but I am still stuck outside the system because still no prompt message to enter appears.
Copying the character to Tribble and trying on the Season 2 build still does not work, which is the most annoying thing as I hoped a major update to the game would have fixed it! Even the COPY of my character isn't able to get into the mission!
This is just affecting my main character. Since then I have created a second character and that one was able to do the Bhea mission just fine. So it is something bugged related to the character and the option to enter the Bhea map.
I have submitted bug report tickets - #876246 was the original one I submitted 51 days ago. I got nowhere with that one - just an automated response.
So 46 days ago I submitted a GM Help Ticket - #880259. GM Litana seemed very responsive and the ticket has been at "In Progress" status for the last 46 days, but I am concerned that it has been forgotten or ignored after such a long time.
I am not the only person to have this problem. A simple forum search for "BHEA" reveals many others who have the identical problem:

I don't know if they ever did the mission previously, but I re-iterate that I have never done the Bhea mission at all and can't get in. This is an example of someone on a team that can't get in.

In this one it's the other way around - CherryTerri can get in - but her team friend is the one with the "Bhea problem" same as I have.

And finally, although there are many more instances of this in threads (I can't list them all here), here is an example of this sam bug with a different system altogether:

In this case the bug is identical, except that they can't get into the Cernan system in the Kassae sector patrol.
So there's a lot of information there for devs to feed on - please say that the problem really is being examined and not written on a post-it note that was chucked into the trash 2 months ago! :eek:

When I had problem with other missions in the game it always worked and the bugs were gone.
I have never had the Bhea system bug though.
Already mentioned - dropping does not work. I've dropped the mission 20 times or more. Each time when you re-take the misison, the other planets are already listed as being completed, so you don't have to do them again - the game is just waiting for me to finish Bhea - but it won't let me in.
