Beta Test Notes

I have to say, I'm finding this beta test of Star Trek Online difficult to play.

I've heard of some sites charging you a couple bucks for a beta key, but I had to pay 50 bucks to get into this one, and I can barely play. This must be an early stage of the beta since much of the HUD and networking systems seem to be redressed versions of those from Champions. Guess they'll fix that at launch.

When is this game going live? Hopefully not soon, given its current state.
