Nehalem Intel Xeons, not core 2's. And yes, my Mac is now almost 2 years old. It still does things that no PC can. By the way, all these cool games you like to play on your awesome PC? They were made using primarily Macs.

Ok well I ended up at the same place I always do in this argument Mac's software is proprietary and is good for video editing...

Since I am an end user gamer who doesn't edit video or design game content for me... it's gonna be a PC every time...

If I ever get into editing video I will definitely look into OSX because I would not mind having a shiny new MAC it's just that for those gamers on a budget like myself... It would be very tough to justify a MAC..."for gaming"

My PC has 8GB of DDR3 (which Apple doesn't offer yet), Windows 7, Directx 11, a Core i7 (which Apple doesn't offer yet) , and a Radeon 5870, the fastest single video card there is :)

Yes, I like being cutting edge, and I build my own systems.

I already stated earlier why. 3d animation. Maya, Blender, and Final Cut. For what I do, I need a Mac. For what you do, you don't. Notice how I haven't trashed PC simply for being PC. I pointed out what PC fails to provide, and what Mac does provide.

It depends on the size of the files.
