    Yeah, I'm wondering if it's related to hourly backups or hourly cron jobs that use too much CPU time. I think it'd be easier to just RAID mirror the servers if that's the case haha.

    Yeah, the server is down again (as of 8:09pm EST). Maybe some Prozac would help.... ?

    We want to help make your game a success. Please work your asses off to make this headstart playable, then launch day will go well, hopefully.

    This is a critical time for your success here Cryptic as far as subscriber retention is concerned. Do everything you can to make this launch smooth(er).

    The website is say that the server is still up, but can't sign in.

    great it happend again...
    And again the moment i left a system of a Patrol mission system. Funny coincidence.
    And like last time it starting getting laggyer and laggyer, and the Loading times were about 2 minutes,
    and then it crashed.

    i cant see why doesnt cryptic dont take the servers down till tuesday to get the rest of the bugs worked out of the game for release day.

    Whats going to happen when the game goes live to the rest of the world? Think this is bad? Its about to be al lot worse.:eek:

    Sick of trying if you cant get the head start right why should we believe launch will be any different...will check back in a few hours maybe you'll have it together by then

    looks like its the account server thats fallen over this time.

    server would show as up, and you'd be ok till you try and transfer maps.. but the moment it needs to get any kind of account info for you, you're screwed XD

    i'd give it an hour tops, probably just needs a reboot

    I understand that this is only the second day into the pre-release but please can we get some reliable hardware.

    you know what? i said i was not going to moan like a lot of people have been today,....but



    :mad:..... for F@#k sake sort it out, I'm lucky I've only paid £10 so far as i pay another £35 on release day. but that wont be happening if i don't get a good head-start, I'll stop my order, from what I've managed to play for so far it's still ripping me off at £10. i feel sorry for you guys who have put a lot of money into this

    now i wait for the flaming about "you obviously never been at the start of an MMO before....bla....bla....bla" :p

    Dear Cryptic, please could you tell us what servers you are running so i can avoid they when setting up my own STO game.
