[Showstopper] Server Not Responding - Details and "workaround"

So there are dozens of threads on this so I wanted to consolidate.

This message happens when loading into ANY shard, so Sol System, Briar Patch, even your Bridge.

You get a message in the loading screen of "ERROR: SERVER NOT RESPONDING" then get booted.

You log back in, and it can take up to 20 minutes to get back in the game, sometimes losing the progress you made on a quest.

The only work around I have seen was to log in as a different character then log back in. This has only worked once for me, so I am not sure how well it actually works.


I'll post a bug in game, if it will let me back in.

    I've been seeing this a lot, today connectivity and lag seems especially bad.

    Same issue here. I am going to try the suggested work around I will post back with my results.

    I'll post a bug in game, if it will let me back in.

    Switching Characters seems to work . I will post a bug as well.

    Same problem here and i lost my progress in the last 30 minutes ****:mad:

    I tried logging in as my Klingon character it does not work.
