Turning off Fleet name display.

I was playing Neverwinter today and noticed you could turn off the display of you Guild/Alliance. This effects other what players can see on you if they have the display option turned on the always display other players names. I was wondering if there was a way to do the same in STO with fleet names?

I did not know this was even a thing! I would support a toggle even though I would not use it. Don't know if this is present in the Cryptic engine that STO uses. On a different note, really wish that updates to the fleet window would not erase themselves or there was a button to save changes there.

Yeah, the reason I asked was because Neverwinter, Star Trek online, and Champions online all use a very similar engine. Not exactly the same, but very very close.

what? you don't want to proudly display the fleet you are in? of course with the number of vampire fleets out there I could see why people would want to hide affiliation.

No, the reason I asked was because I had a player keep bugging me to join our fleet on Xbox. There it's really hard to stop getting chat for folks. There is no simple add to ignore like on PC. You have to open their profile screen and block them. Thing is sometimes that doesn't work, and you keep seeing their messages/chat. It's the same deal with gold sellers spamming a web address to sell keys for real world cash.

Hiding the name of the fleet would help avoid this. (a little anyway, they could still see your fleet if they inspected your character.)
