Sad you guys dropped Windows 7, I'd been away for a while but recently tried to come back and found out I'm not playing Star Trek anymore. It's really the only game I can't run on this PC, so I'll go play those instead. WoW and Star Wars still play, if anyone else is locked out. It's a shame, I don't like it on PS4, I played on PC since the game launched and really liked it.
Don't know when I'll be back, I hope you're still around.
It's fine if the corporate sector wants to run their grocery store self checkout machines on Windows 7.

I understand. Not everyone can afford to upgrade, either OS or entire computer because of hardware compatibility. Honestly I think some of us were spoiled by the long life of Windows XP. Those were the days.

Just as baffled here. I've got a Windows 10 machine.
Windows 7 is still loved by some, and is still in surprisingly wide use, especially in the corporate sector
