Firstly, thank you for the small tweaks you've brought to the game over the past few years. And the Mirror Universe Borg? I LOVE that, and it's certainly the best addition to the game since the Romulans.
As for the main reason for the post:
According to this old post, there were talks about possibly adding that race for the boffs. The post dates back from 2010:

The only reference to that was made by @mikew75
Apparently he hasn't been active in the forum since Dec 31, 1969 so perhaps he caught a millennial bug?
Very cool to read through such an old archival post though.. it was made a year before I started playing. I was surprised to find a couple that are even older.
Good stuff for some historical perspective..
