Phoenix Event lost ?

We had an upgrade weekend not to long ago but we haven't had a Phoenix Event since. Now we have an upgrade weekend again and no Phoenix Event in sight? People would like to turn their ultra rares in for ship upgrade token. Why have we not seen a Phoenix Event? Forgotten?

We had one in April for PC and Console in May. We're probably due one very soon. No need to be tetchy about it, but there is no 'law' that dictates how often and when they should put Phoenix Events on is there?

I'm sorry you feel personally attacked by this post but we had a pretty well round schedule before the whole transition to a new owner time. So yeah I got used to it what is it to you?

Personally I never cared much for the ship upgrade tokens, at least not those in the Phoenix store.

The Phoenix upgrades, the regular ones, have always been much more valuable to me. There's always some toon that can use them for something, with all the new stuff that's constantly coming out.

I'd be more interested in seeing some Red Alert events that grant a ship upgrade token again, or perhaps a captain upgrade token. Those are offered much less often.

As for the Phoenix store in general: I wish they'd especially update the list of items contained in it and do this more often. On my main account, I have almost all ships but I'm not that interested in it. On a newer, alternate account I have very few of the event ships and of course I've found that precisely on that account, I'd like to get some of the Risian ships for this one toon.

Let's cool it with the personal stuff in here. If folks want to ask about phoenix events they're within their rights to. Simply because we haven't had one for a minute doesn't mean we'll never see them. All things in due time.

I've heard rumors that a Phoenix Prize event is incoming following the current upgrade week, or possibly coinciding with the upcoming Red Alert following the summer event. Please take this with a grain of salt, however; not all rumors turn out to be true.

I acquired most of my T6X's from buying and selling on the Exchange as I feel they're overpriced in the Zen Store. Getting them through the Phoenix store instead has been a handy alternative when the Exchange price goes too high.

Nice to have different options.

I expect there will be a Phoenix event before long.

And I already have five Ultras waiting to be cashed in so I can upgrade Cynder's M'Chla (a great little ship, but saddled by only having 9 console slots by default, which is really its only weakness). Can't beat the Enhanced Battle cloak for mosquitoing enemies (nothing beats buzzing around as an invisible "hornet" stinging enemies using an experimental weapon, consoles, boff abilities, and an occasional torpedo salvo). Then...decloak to get the ambush bonus as well as proccing Hunter's Instinct.

I think that is because there is a Fleet version you can get from a Fleet Store. My only gripe with the M'Chla (non refit model) is it feels like its pointing in the wrong direction so its a bit awkward unless you are in combat and see the shield arcs. Other than that its a very good BoP. I got a Fleet Version on my KDF.

I found a way to make a decent uni build for my M'Chla, and am going to end up getting a million dil so I can convert all that into Phoenix Prize Packs (hopefully getting enough to land a stack of T6 ship upgrades!). By far the best use of dil, if you have large amounts of it.

This should give me an easy path to T6-X2ing the M'Chla, so it actually has a decent number of consoles (11 is nothing to sneeze at; whilst this is the least any T6-X2 has, 11 is plenty to build a powerful ship).
