What's the best powerboard for winning races?

I've noticed the powerboards don't always go up in speed and turning as the cost goes up. What's the best combination for winning races...
pure speed, raw turning ability, or some of both? In other words, which ones are really the best?

    for floaters the impulsive. don't know for sure about powerboards but if they have a impulsive board that would be the one.

    I guess I should ask...what's better, Impulsive or Elite? They are very different stats in the very same price range. Which ones will have better odds at winning? I mean I'm not out to beat anyone else, but I do want to earn as many favors as possible.

    Its a bit subjective I think. And there is always the one variable that can't be accounted for: Lag.

    If the powerboards are like the floaters, Impulsive might be a bit faster, but might lose a bit on turning.
