OK, the rocket launch thing is easy. And I think most people now are probably just getting dilithium.
But to *get* the reward, people should at least have to *do something,* rather than just standing around. Every single time I hop in this, there's always at least one and often more people who just stand at the table and do nothing.
Simple suggestion - do nothing, *get* nothing, so people don't just waste space and still get rewarded for it.

Agreed. Was the only one in one run last night actually running about. It's an absolute mockery nowadays and they defend themselves with 'well, it doesn't affect you does it?'.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Just don't start trolling, flaming, naming and shaming. 🙄

Random idea..why not make the TFO actually engaging and ENJOYABLE...radical idea for a game I know.
As it stands that little TFO is a total RNG-fest, you can hustle to the piles 14-15 times and end up with all green, you can feverishly do the trash to component 2nd stage and end up with 1 or 2 blue components..you goto the launch point and watch as the all green rocket goes further than the all purple then everyone gets the exact same participation trophies..at that point your average player is going to ask whats the point?
Lower the RNG values, they are ridiculous and give a minor bonus to the winner say and extra 10 marks and you will see engagement increase.
They did used to try to impose a do nothing get nothing, but it used to glitch all the time and the player base was getting very annoyed at participating and getting nothing for it..do a search in the archives, you will find plenty of posts.
Why? If the mission depends on a team working together to achieve an objective, or kill stuff, or whatever, then yes, everyone should participate and I'm in favour of the AFK penalty for that reason.
But in this mission, no one is disadvantaged by idlers. I see no reason why a penalty needs to be imposed.
