Awesome...can we take this opportunity to allow the Herald Transphasic Torpedoes to be upgradeable like the Disco Advanced Photon Torpedoes? They should probably be setup like the Voth Chronoton Transphasic, can only equip one.
I don't suppose all difficulties will be available for those TFO during the event instead of only normal difficulty?
Those TFO are just too easy when not on advanced or elite.
Normal is fast and convenient, but lacking in challenge.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Event TFO's are always Normal difficulty only.
I know that is how it has been till now, but it never hurts to ask...

We need a melee revamp before we need more melee weapons. Having more options doesn't solve the clumsiness that melee play currently suffers from.
There have been some notable melee weapons with less clunky mechanics added since the disco klingon addition so this shows it is a work in progress.
In mean time let's collect various melee weapons to use when the awaited revamp happens.

True, I greatly enjoy using the Voth fangs and the Bat'leth that has a fire bonus - against slow moving enemies or ones with a lot of HP that won't be killed by someone else before I can get to them. These weapons still deal damage at greater distances, or they make you bridge the distance better.
But it's still far from where we should be. The underlying mechanics themselves (lack of possibility to interrupt an attack, lack of ability to move and attack at the same time) haven't improved at all. It's still walk. Cut. Walk. Cut. Very tedious, to say the least.

As someone who does go melee at times it would be an interesting change but not likely to happen as melee uses the same basic mechanics as for the ranged weapons. Since those are 'run and gun' as opposed to a full on combat system so would require probably a massive recode to overhaul a game not designed to do anything super massively funky with any of it's combat systems it's probably a non-starter. Maybe in STO2? The FPS mode was added a few seasons after launch (controversially) and has not had any real update since and I have a vague memory of it only being KDF characters in one tutorial mission with playable melee weapons not appearing until later.
Hi, maybe you could do a reach out, to those who should know, and enquire if it's the price listed in the article that's incorrect, or has the price been set incorrectly in game?
The article says 2000 zen, in game it currently says 2500.
Clarification would be good, if you could, please.
Complete the entire campaign to unlock a Tier 6 Infinity Promotional Ship of your choice, Two Free T6 Zen Store Coupons, and 1500 Lobi.
Is this an error, has the Event Campaign Reward changed significantly from prior Campaigns, or am I misreading this?
No, this is not an error. This is a new thing that started with this campaign and will probably continue. It used be "or" now it is "and". That is a good thing and quite generous. This is the reason why the campaign now has 6 events that are part of it.
Wow. Campaigns had been getting longer since their introduction, I had just assumed they were looking for the right challenge/reward balance. This *is* generous. Thank you for clarifying.

I also cannot wait to get my hands on that huge lollipop!
