Personal Endeavors completed incorrectly

I'm filing this one under "what the heck just happened?"
I completed a [Hard] ground endeavor for Hur'q attendants by running 'Storm Clouds Gather'. It seemed to be progressing normally with the bar filling up on kills, but then when it reached the end, instead of that being the completed endeavor, the [Hard] progress went back to zero and the [Medium] bar filed, giving me the rare reward.
I don't think it needs to be said, but I was not fighting any Undine ships in the bowels of DS9.

But never have it fill the wrong one and get the reward for the other one.
