Federation class dreadnought suggestion

I know we have very few TOS ships. But bringing the federation class dreadnought would level out the series for tos players and trekkies alike. But I wanna know everyone else’s thoughts.

    Can they use it though? I tought they created the Atlas class since they could not use that one freely.

    Unfortunately the Federation Class is a Franz Josef design, which is still not actually owned by CBS/Paramount, and thus not accessable to Cryptic. That also rules out Larsons, Saladins, Loknars, and any other TOS design from the Technical Manual and Starfleet Battles.

    However we CAN potentially get ships from other Star Trek games as long as Cryptic builds the models themselves, so ships like the Ark Royal Carrier from Starfleet Command 2 and potentially the Achilles class from Dominion Wars are on the table for consideration.

    Isn't the 1 nacelle TOS style design in kind of a grey zone thanks to it having shown up in Strange New Worlds?

    Kinda sorta. Odds are we could get the Archer type as seen in Strange New Worlds, but we still cannot get the actual Saladin.
