14th anniversary contest "verification"

I am trying to figure out why I need to have even more social media accounts to "verify" an entry for this...

I already have an email address, twitter, and twitch connected that have been connected to the account for years. I do not have or want any of the others.
It is not the biggest deal in the world to not be able to enter for this, but I have to wonder, how are any of the other accounts going to verify who I am any more than I already have? I could make a google account in under 2 minutes with whatever information I want and that would be "verified"?

For a game with Vulcans, your logic is lacking.

    It is the site that is running the competition that needs it, not Cryptic. Your sign-ins here are irrelevant.

    I checked with them already and the requirements are apparently set by the group running the event. In this case, Gearbox/Cryptic.

    I was able to log in using just my twitch account, which has been tied to this promotional site for a long time.

    I'm not able to enter this giveaway either, because I don't have accounts with any of those 3rd-party sites.

    This was especially galling because I've entered these Gleam giveaways before, they recognized me and asked for an emailed code verification, and only after I completed that did they block me with a verification requirement I'm unable to meet.

    Pretty frustrated right now. :(

    Same. I have used my email/twitter/twitch for many entries in the past. This is the first time that isn't enough.
