Do you still need remodulators with the revision to the Borg?

  Remodulation is a built-in Captain ability now. Whenever you fight the Borg, you'll have a Remodulate ability appear whenever the Borg have adapted to your weapon.
  
  You can get better Remodulators by crafting, or from the "Taken By Surprise" mission. I believe the only advantage to these is the decreased remodulation time.

  I don't know what the difference is between Fractal and Extirpating honestly, other than one is a PITA to get the materials for and the other is a mission reward.

  and if you have the omega ground set, it's the same button. it's fast if it's not on cooldown
