    It's not on https://www.playstartrekonline.com/en/news so probably just a glitch on the old site. They tried killing the old News site before, but there was backlash, both from people that don't like the new bright page as well as it causing issues with searching for old official News for STO. I'm kinda surprised they haven't deprecated it entirely and just leaving it as an archive with a link to the new News page.

    It looks like someone started to copypaste something from Champions and change it for STO but never completed it, then ended up going live on the old site. I would not put too much stock in it, especially the dates which have a track record in STO of being wildly (and hilariously) inaccurate.

    Real update just went up and it is MUCH better than a costume discount and double XP!
