    I'm sure it will end up in Mudds eventually but I doubt it will be this holiday season

    The visuals, except for the drone dome which (like the DSC forcefields) is a little too opaque, are not that bad. The screen-blanking flashes and clouds some other gear makes is often much worse than the Kuumaarke set visuals, drone dome included.

    True, that can be annoying at times, though it is also a good callback to TAS era life-support belts. I just look at them as being over-driven versions of the personal forcefields and therefore brighter than the low-key aura the LSBs produced or the lack of any visual effect of the STO-era standard defensive fields.

    I would not mind the TAS Aura look over the detail obscuring mess they have now. that's also the solution to most all the VFX spam, an aura/outline of the affected area instead of opaque space twisters
