Although they are shown in the sample pics, the NCV registry is not selectable for the Ranger/Paladin, Perseus/Theseus, and Gemini/Sagittarius Temporal ships.
Promo pics for the Daedalus, Perseus, Gemini & Ranger all show "NCC" and are not 26th century starships, but 23rd century ships.
However, you are onto something with the Paladin, Nautilus, Sagittarius & Theseus...
The problem for this being a true 'bug' is that whilst the promo art shows the "NCV" registry being used, none of the ships are advertised as having access to the "NCV" registry. Compare that with the Temporal Science Vessels & Destroyers which do explicitly state this in their blogpost.

Consider also that whilst none of the four Temporal ships referred to here are advertised as having access to the "NCV" registry prefix, it could be argued that the three showing the "NCV" prefix in their images are effectively advertising access to it.
