Which Connie?

I have an Event Campaign IV Prize: Premium T6 Starship Choice.

At this point, I don't own an endgame Connie. Obviously I have the T1-T2 stuff like Utility Cruiser, et all, but nothing endgame.

From the reward pack named above, I can choose either the Mirror Warship

Or the Temporal Light Cruiser Connie

The Temporal Connie has a bit more Hull, but I like the BOFF seats on the Mirrior Warship, and the Mirror also turns better.

Rift versus Corbomite, eh. Neither of them impresses me much. Useful in a niche situation, yes, but...
I own a Temporal D7, another option from the same prize pack, and it's a lovely ship, but I'm not sure Corbomite Maneuver is even working.

      As a TOS fan, TOS Connie all the way. Donnie is no Connie so Temporal Light Cruiser.

      You could also pick the Miracle Worker Flight Deck Carrier, which is the DSC Connie. So you have three Connie choices.

      you could pick up the mirror with the coupon then get the mudd bundle an get the temporal

      Technically, I believe the Kelvin Timeline Constitution is also available. Though that barely even resembles the Prime Timeline version; at least the DSC variants look like a mix of TOS and TMP.

      The Kelvin Timeline Heavy Command Cruiser is still a pretty good option as well. And you can give it red ramscoops if you don't like the blue ones.

      Neither, get another ship. Like the Inquiry, the Universe/Valkis or the Excelsior. ;)

      But if you absolutely want one of those ships: I'd pick the warship too, for the same reason you're giving. It is more versatile in its Boff layout. Its console also seems slightly more interesting (crit severity buff and power drain against enemies, vs flat damage boost and power drain + boost for the light cruiser's ominous device).

      But the Boff layout is probably the most significant advantage the warship has over the light cruiser.

      The Discovery Constitutions cannot use the TMP Skin, I believe. So, if that is a factor for you as it was for me, the Temporal would be the way to go.

      While they can't use the parts, they CAN use the hull material.

      If there was an easier method of acquiring any of them, I'd be over the moon. As long as we still remember what came first. BTW, that's an image of the restored original filming model.

      I've been watching Strange New Worlds lately, since I just can't stomach Discovery or Picard anymore; the cringe factor of both has grown too much for me.

      So, SNW is supposed to be a "prequel" to STOS. What are you guys calling that Enterprise?

      The SNW Connie is pretty much the same as the DSC Connie, just with a few extra details.

      Well, it first appeared in ST: D S2 so generally it's referred to as The Donnie
      And the Kelvin Universe version is: The Konnie
      ;)

        I recall that being the origin too, that said shortening of "Discovery Connie" is a good way of explaining it to people not familiar with STO devs (or former devs in this case).
