Can't purchase more character slots

in PS4 Gameplay Bug Reports
I was told to put a post here for this. I'm at 57 character slots and can't purchase any more. The fandom page, as well as other posts I've found says the max is 61, but the bug would still allow me to get to 59. Not sure what else I'm supposed to do at this point.

    And here I was think the cap was 32 characters and I'm already at 29

    Almost a year later and only a partial fix. Though I did find a post for PC that's similar and it took nine months to fix there.
