No word on Summer Event?

Is there gonna be no Summer Event this year? I was looking forward to an announcement by now. Instead I get this crappy Tholian event TRIBBLE instead. June/July is the best time for this event. Please don't say it won't be till the end of July, into August. Which is a crappy time for this event, when summer is almost over.

    Its most likely going to be after this Red Angel event, and they want to start the summer event at the same time on both PC and Console.
    As for when the best time is... that is up to Cryptic to decide honestly.

    Any updates when summer event will go live? Tired of the current grindfest and disappointed that it was delayed it even more than previous years. This is a summer party pooper tiger-2.gif​​

    Pretty sure personal shields will be fine. I mean think about it, if a forcefield can keep atmosphere from escaping a ship...

    Goodness this event just keeps moving farther back. 2019 July 2- Aug. 15, 2018 July 3- Aug. 16, 2017 June 8- July 20, 2016 June 9- July 21. This year is looking like early Aug through mid Sept. They keep moving it and it'll be running into the winter event. :smiley:

    Summer Event 2023, it's just crazy! Why weave magic and sorcery into a sci-fi game? It's not fantasy! Please stop this mess! It ruins the game. I just really don't want to send my favorite game to the trash.
