Anybody else same issue? Not able to roll EPG or Drain on Advanced Science Exotic Particle Amplifier

I have been wondering, looks like since the last patch anyway I can't roll EPG or DrainX on the Advanced Science console. I mean I can't see it at all anymore I know its not easy to roll but if you roll for 50k Dillithium and you have not seen either one it feels like its gone. Did they remove it and if they did, why?

    It shows the possible modifiers in the re-engineering screen. If they're listed there, they should still be available.

    I haven't tried re-engineering any consoles after the latest patch, but I doubt they'd remove it.

    It's very likely unintended, as they've stated that they want to expand the list to add things to the list (to give Eng consoles Sci options and Sci consoles Eng options), not make the list smaller.

    Re-rolling worked previously to [EPG] on Sci consoles, but I have not bothered trying to make or re-roll since the latest patch. It was in the text list at that time.

    Don't know about the newest patch but I spent a bit over 160k dillithium trying to get epg on a single console and never managed to get it when they first came out. gave up after that. It just kept hitting the same 4 other options like control, phaser, torpedo, quantum, I figured it was set to favor those in particular and insanely low for what you want on a science console.

    That's just RNGesus - I got [EPG] on 4 consoles in about an average of 15 rolls each; still more than usual with other types of equipment, but not as bad as I was expecting after seeing the sheer amount of possible rolls.​​

    Before or after the latest patch. As I said before I have not even seen epg or drainx as on option anymore since then.

    You could try copying your character to tribble, so any reroll experiments don't mess up your console(s) on live. Could also check to see if the modifiers match as well. If they show on Tribble but not on live then you can put in a bug report some certainty.

    EPG is definitely not on the list when you mouse over it so you can see all of the possible mods. A real shame since you have to give up 35+ EPG + 25+ Control by replacing a research lab console.

    Also: character bound on equip? Boooo!

    I've noticed inconsistent locking of some advanced science consoles. I have two advanced drain consoles (one with a stealth mod, one with drain) that can't be rerolled at all but others that can be. Maybe its a bug in item creation, or with those mods in particular starting out.

    Apparently there was also an issue with the Advanced engineering consoles, that is going to be fixed today. No word/acknowledgement about the science consoles in the patch notes though.

    Science consoles at least list EPG, DrainX, and ControlX (this one is twice listed) in the re-roll text now, though the [EPG] ones are still way high on the Exchange, so I don't know if they're really there or not. I'm keeping the mod on the one I have for now, so not going to try re-rolling personally.

    I just tested it and got EPG on my first re-engineering roll for the Advanced Exotic console.
