Aegis deflector vanished

I was loading a Epic MK XV Aegis deflector onto my ship on earth space dock from my inventory and when I clicked on it, it vanished. Any ideas where it went or has anyone had the same problem with a item vanishing?? maybe a lagg spike during transpotation lol
