Launcher issue again?

anyone else having launcher issues again? Been trying to get in the game and all I get is the little pop up about the launcher updating and then it times out.

    Same here, this is annoying. At least I got 1 day of playing yesterday before things went off kilter again.

    Yup. same. "Connection Problem" trying to get launcher to load.

    Same happening to me now - Auto updater if failing to connect to patch server , then times out after 5 attempts. Was fine about 3 hours ago, now it's been borked again.

    they are trying to patch something new again,, and the code is screwed, i guess

    Was fine for me earlier in the day, went to swap to an alt and got thrown out of the game and now I can not back in

    Same, after 5 or 6 tries it says it can't connect or something....So basically, here we go again.

    Connection issues again? Seriously?

    I don't post much on these forums anymore, but even I have reached the point where I have to say this is beyond a joke. What is going on at Cryptic? There was a time when they had the manpower to put out actual expansion the size of Legacy of Romulus and Delta Rising, These days it seems we're lucky to get one or two missions and a TFO.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that ever since PWE threw all their collective development eggs into the resource hole that was the Magic: The Gathering basket, we seem to be running on a one man and his dog dev team. All that seems to happen these days is old features get removed and the ones that remain cannot be updated or modified because nobody knows how they work anymore.

    I'm not blaming the Devs as I'm sure they're overworked and probably as frustrated as the players. I do however blame years of mismanagement from whichever publisher happens to own Cryptic at the time and their quest to squeeze out as much money as possible for as little investment as possible.
