is anyone having issues with Fed tailors galaxy wide with Boffs uniform changes. I have been to every fed tailor, every instance and I cannot change their uniforms. I submitted a ticket and they don't know anything.

There's a long-standing issue here that seems to be 'fixed' but keeps re-appearing.

The boff that you are trying to edit should be a part of your Away Team. If it's not already, set it to your Away Team. (You may need to relog for this to work properly.)

Next, edit their appearance.

Finally, swap that boff back out of your Away Team, if necessary. (Again, a relog might need to be done.)

Just to add, there are a number of Boff's for which you are not allowed to change their appearance.

I don't have problems editing boffs, but the copy/paste uniform only has been broken forever.

I only change the uniform of my away team. I have never had a problem before now,

Are you trying to change a special holo-boff like Janeway or Leeta? You are not allowed to change them.

please read all responses because I have played this game from the onset and understand how the tailor works. you all sound like you work for cryptic, or wowslengends, its not their fault its must be me. I never had a problem before. and I understand how the fricken tailor works, I am not a noob. This is why I don't post on here, no usfull info just people who think they know what I have done to correct this.

Calm down.
Some people may be working the "process of elimination" to narrow down the problem. Your opening post wasn't exactly clear on what the problem was at all so people are naturally going to try and narrow it down. We do have BOffs that cannot be edited. You did not specify if it was normal BOffs or these special BOffs.

Please just take a deep breath, and give as much detail as possible as to what is going on. If other people report having the same issues, it may be a bug. But as of right now there's no telling which way this is going.

OP, I'm going to caution you to check the attitude. No one here has attacked you in any way for you to be snapping at them for trying to help. Perhaps, you should be more clear and forthcoming about what exactly is the issue that you're having. Otherwise, others are having to make assumptions.

This is all that your opening post said. It says nothing about which BOFF you're trying to change and/or what you're trying to change on them.

Since we have BOFFs that can't be changed, others were making sure that this was not the problem. Just clarify what you were trying to do with which BOFF and maybe then we can help.

In some cases especially on console, having the Boff in your away team is not enough, you actually have to run a ground mission with them in it before you can change their uniform or train them in new skills (Just changing maps does not always work, at least for me that is). That mostly happens on console but I have had it happen on my PC character as well.

to start I am not losing my cool I never do, its just a game. I know what boffs can and cannot be changed. on all of my Fed toon I am unable to alter their appearance from the neck down. thats all fed toons at all tailors. cryptic is either unable or unwilling to fix it. been playing since the first week and never had a problem like this. my kdf toons have no issues its just the fed.

I have lately had issues reloading saved costumes on any boff, I have had to go in and manually put a uniform on, and this is on the fed side. BUT I have also put uniforms on boffs and had it stay. As to the problem where the boff has to be on your away team, I have had that problem on and off, it is not constant but it does happen from time to time.

this. especially if going from skirt to pants or vs versa

I'd suggest avoiding accusations.
In the meantime other than a bug report, I don't really know what to tell you regarding this as I have never heard of something like this before myself. I can try bringing this up with the other mods, but that's about it.

OP, you are saying you cannot change any of your fed boffs neck down. I will assume uniforms and not scaling items like height/chest /hip size. and even if scaling, I just was in the tailor and experience no issues. basically, it PROBABLY eliminates anything server side. May I suggest you try force verifying the game files? maybe something is corrupted.
