As the ability now pulses and envelops the ship for the full duration, the 23c shield visuals are now lost and uses the 25c visuals only.
As an aside, is it possible to make the shield visuals more translucent during this time? Before the change it was a single pulse which looked alright. Now we're flying around in a white oval for the duration of the ability.

I have the similar issue with the EM Power to shields update im not sure if its fully bugging or just visually bugging my Shield overload trait but the pulsing its causing the Shield Overload Trait to Refresh on each pulse, Im not 100% sure if its refreshing only the visual effects or the entire trait as the visuals are suppost to help indicate the strength of the shield resistance as it bleeds down over time.

I am not able to play the game with the new EPTS effect. I am 100% of the time flying a glowing white egg that makes a droning noise that drowns out all other sound in the game. It has also broken the 23c EPTS effect that I both enjoyed and paid resources at the fleet K-13 holding to acquire.

Issue: after the last patch the visual and audio FX for bridge officer power "Emergency Power to Shields" loop for the full duration of the ability rather than triggering once and dissipating. The visual FX are rather heavy (obscuring ship a lot when applied constantly, also allowing one to easily see clipping issues between shield and ship) but audio FX looping is especially problematic as the sound's rapidly rising cadence (repeated) has an especially grating effect for those with sensory sensitives (ex. autistic spectrum). The impact of the update is to make those affected (like myself) want to remove EPtS from all builds (because whatever information benefit there might be, it's not worth the visceral reaction to the grating sound effect).
Resolution: reset the FX to trigger only once and not repeat (at LEAST the audio, for the love of Q, but visual recommended too).

I'm new to how this process works... does this just get binned and maybe we'll see an update in the patch notes some day in the distant future? Or can we expect to see a response acknowledging that the EPtS effect is broken?

It still pulses for the full duration when the Going the Extra Mile trait is slotted though but that may be working as intended...?
