New Console and Doffs Ideas

Due to way too many placates there needs to be some counters. Here is just a few ideas.

1) Section 31 Counter-Intelligence DOFF---immunity to placates (space).
2) Counter Intelligence Officer DOFF---immunity to placates (ground).
3) Military Intelligence Agents Console---immunity to placates, 300+starship perception.
4) Temporal Insight (Temporal Bridge Officer Ability---Immune to placates for 30 seconds.
5) Espionage Hologram DOFF---Immune to placates, 300+ starship perception, 10% chance to avoid holds.
6) Counter Intelligence Drones (ground kit)---immune to placates, +250 perception for 30 seconds.

    It's seems like you have a lot of stress about placates.

    I wouldn't call those counters. I'd call those totally broken.

    As i understand the problem is not a placate, but being not target-able. Different ballgame.
    Solution: pop an AoE.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Yes, but i think its a figure of speech, he is expressing his dissatisfaction for all the times he has been trolololed.

    There can be many creative ways do help the matter. Example:

    All competative consumables no longer have 15 min CD, or shared CDs with each other, overlapping consumables just replace each other and are usable in PvE as well. Additional changes:

    *Sesnsor disruption pylon
    Passing through buffs or refresh You and all friendly ships for 30 seconds (you dont need to stand in, just pass through the field):
    -gives +500 perception rather than stealth (is it a typo anyway ?)
    - +50% chance to resist placate (stacks with the intel specialization skill tree)
    -accuracy buffs are kept.
    -debuff to foes are removed.
    Can spawn as many as you want (no CD) new spawn replace old spawn (one per player at a time)

    *Long range automate defense
    -damage increased 3x times
    -attack speed increased 3x times
    -range increased to from 10 to 18Km
    -structure size increased significantly (So you can see and notice them)

    *Increase control resistance
    - Additionally removes one debuff every 3 seconds

    Consumables that are titled "short" like the Stasis shell, instant repairs, keep the self-CD (so you cannot spam them). Additionally, Critical hit chance, takedown, shield heal are moved to the "short" category.

    All consumables are now allowed for pve as well (why not ? another dill dump).


    There are many ways to address the problems, the above idea is just one of them

    I think some placates in space can be cleared with Science Team as well. While it might not shield you from chain placating, it does help.

    The jam sensors is sci team
    integrity doff is eng team
    pseudo is boost moral

    but by the time you clear it, the other guy is healed to 100%, specially in a 1v1 fight is absolute troll, every few seconds = placate (lose the momentum) +heal to 100%. Also you might want to keep your sci team vs subnuke.
