Equipping ship item disappeared, possible loadout bug.

I rep bought the Adapted Honor Guard Impulse Engine
Created a new Layout
Renamed it
With the ship/character UI closed selected Equip from the items drop down menu
Poof, gone. It did not replace the item it should have on my currently active ship.
I've tried switching layouts
There's no option to delete a layout, would be nice.
I've left the game and returned several times.
No Adapted Honor Guard Impulse Engine.
My furor is palatable.

    I just lost a MACO Impulse Engine on one of my fed characters doing the same thing. What am I missing?!

    Currently a known issue, and under investigation.

    The worst is when you go into a Space Combat Mission and all your stuff is in your inventory. So you have to sit out the beginning of the fight putting everything back in.

    Have you checked the Visuals tab?
