Combat pet disappearance, along with Customer Service....

mirax#1711 mirax Member Posts: 16 Arc User
So, I was running the mission The Measure of Morality (Part 1) and it started bugging out on the part where you have to fight Control. It stopped moving and just stayed in a corner and did nothing. After 5 minutes of this, I beamed out and restarted that part of the mission. I noticed when we beamed back in that my Engineer's Exo Comp Combat pet I bought from the Phoenix Prize Store wasn't there anymore and seemed to have disappeared. I put in a ticket about it and then I was told to come here, make a post and MAYBE something will happen. WTF? THIS is what passes for Customer Service here? What happened? When did I have to report something multiple times and places to get a problem resolved?

Confused and irritated LTS,

Of all the ideas that became the United States, there's a line in the Declaration of Independance that's at the heart of all the others. "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and provide new Guards for their future security."

This is because "Customer Service" does not deal with bugs, only your Account issues. You need to, and must, report bugs here to ensure they get picked up by the Dev's.

This has happened again, on another toon. The Dilithium Horta and the Mugato combat pets have disappeared.

Are these pets consumables by any chance?

Then the OP is wrong about this being a bug. The first part they mention about the mission Measure of Morality Part 1 is a bug though.

@mirax The Holographic Combat Drone, the Dilithium Encrusted Horta, and the Combat Mugato in the Phoenix Lockbox are all consumed on use. This is not a bug but working as intended. With that said, I would like a change from them being consumable on use to not being a consumable. The first part though about the episode Measure of Morality Part 1, that is a bug.

I can confirm measure of morality part 1 is bugged I have had the issue my self where control and sometimes burnham will also get stuck its been a known issue for a long time but when I placed a ticket they said to try some workarounds that others have blindly tried but never work consistently or for all places where control can get stuck. I have triede all known posted workarounds but none of them ever worked for me.

1 of the workarounds they suggested was to change instances now I have had to message back that you can only change instances in 1. a social zone ESD/Drozanna/Klingon homeworld ect or 2. A battleground as missions do not have a change instance button or it is greayed out.

Needless to say I Don't ever play measure of morality part one or part two and have skipped them ever since good luck OP getting them to fix it trust me I wish they would.

I saw after this post that the combat drone says Consumed on Use, but the Horta and the Mugato didn't have that listed.
