Can we maybe change the experimental ship upgrade token reward to boff upgrade token? It appears that we are going to have red alert events every 2-4 weeks like last year, I think last year we had 8 so getting a ship upgrade each time really isn't useful. I got 8 sitting in my account bank that will never be used. The spec point and tech upgrade will always be useful as you have so much equipment to upgrade and a spec point can be applied regardless if your char is maxed. Or maybe give a choice pack where you can choose a ship upgrade or a boff upgrade, or something else if you don't want either of those like dil or an endeavor point.

My wish for Red Alert would be to leave out the Borg one to force us to play the others. I'll sometimes wait 5 minutes for the Tholian one to pop before giving up and spending a couple of minutes beating up that poor Unimatrix one more time.
So do I, the Tholian one flows better with its multiple boss ships and large number of small-to-medium classes, and it does not last too much longer than the Borg one. The Borg one is just too granular and choppy to flow well.
Neither the Captain Upgrade nor Boff Upgrade (although IMO the Boff Upgrade token is a waste for what it costs anyway) tokens do that.
With a free T6-X token, there's the possibility that you may buy another C-Store ship if all the ones you have and like to use already are T6-X.

True, and also more likely to encourage people to buy a T5u or Fleet T5u ship they like (but probably would not buy otherwise) to make it T5UX (which can compete with the lower-end T6 ships), which nets Cryptic about the same as a T6 since a player would probably be buying the T5 upgrade token along with the ship in that case.
I am pretty sure there was 8 cause I got 8 tokens, unless I got them from some other source, I honestly dont remember.
I am trying to get the tzen accolades on my chars, I will sometimes have to wait an hour for it to pop. I got the accolades for the other red alerts on all 9 of my chars.
I still have a lot of T6-ships that aren't upgraded, and I'm frequently buying new ones.
Ya some people do that, but I am not one of those people. I basically pick a ship for each char and stick to it. I have pretty much done this since I started. Two of my chars I changed up their ships, but that was very early on. My second char which is my klingon char had at one point the b'rel bop, but that was back when the klingons didn't have very many options, and during the time you actually had to unlock the ability to play a klingon char, I have since gotten the gorn phalanx sci ship for that char, as I wasnt a huge fan of the bop. My other char I switched up was my rom char she had the rom ha'nom guardian sci vessel, I hated that ship, but again that was back when you could only fly a rom ship, I have since changed her ship to a cardassian damar intel dred. But all my other chars I have stuck with the ship I chose when first starting that char, cause now you can basically grow up with the ship of your choice. I also always choose a different ship for every char and all my chars have different styles of play and I have different energy types I use for each. And at this point I have so many ships to choose from because of various events over the years, and there are lots of options in the zen store as well.
Like I said in my original post, maybe give an option of the tokens in a box. Cause some people like you want the tokens for ships, but people like me have no use for them anymore.
